Maesteg Golf Club offers the golf enthusiast a well maintained course of considerable character and maturity (Est. 1912).
Pyle and Kenfig Golf Course, affectionately known as ‘P & K’ with its lofty sand dunes hugging the South Wales coast of Porthcawl is situated in a wonderful stretch of golfing country.
Parc Slip Nature Reserve itself is an area of 300 acres containing a fantastic mix of habitats such as grassland, woodland and wetlands, restored from its previous status as an opencast coal mine.
The museum has a great many collections on offer, including the 49th Reconnaisance Regiment formed in 1941, Samtampa Disaster 1947, Railways, The Great War exhibition, archaeological finds and records from local churches.

The annual illuminated Tractor run takes place on Saturday 14th of December. The tractors are magnifically decorated in Christmas lights and decorations. They drive a set route around the County, (route can be found on line)starting at Parc Slip, then travelling through Bridgend, Porthcawl, and surrounding areas. This event is not to be missed.
We are a bunch of over excited bikers who meet up even=ry year to have a laugh and raise a bit of money for charity at the same time. This event is run all over the country which makes the public smile. The people of Porthcawl get right behind as and are more excited than we are. The route takes us to most of the care homes in Porthcawl to get more smiles and happiness. Please visit our website for more details.
