Contractors working on behalf of Bridgend County Borough Council have begun mobilisation of plant and materials for the sea defence construction works taking place on the breakwater. The works are starting this month and are likely to run throughout the summer up until March 2022.

The contractors will be using the area alongside the slipway  as a holding area for material so there will be uncharted submerged objects varying the depth. The submerged objects will be marked by a yellow marker buoy but this area should be navigated with caution at all times, ensuring communication with the marina staff when accessing or egressing from the harbour.
