Open-water swimming 25/07/2021

There will be a large group of open water swimmers participating in the Slip 2 Slip event where entrants will swim 4 kilometers from Ogmore-by-sea to Porthcawl on Sunday 25^th July 2021. The swimmers will enter the water at Ogmore-by-sea in groups of 20 to 25 over the course of the morning tide and a number of water rescue vessels will be in the area to support the swimmers. Swimmers will be exiting the water on Sandy Bay.

All swimmers will be wearing tow-floats to identify them in the water but please navigate the waters with care, particularly when accessing or egressing the marina. A number of yellow special markers will also be placed to assist swimmers to keep on course.
