Christmas lights Switch on event
Christmas officially starts in Bridgend on Saturday 23rdNovember with the Christmas Lights Switch-On Event organised by Bridgend TownCouncil.
The festive fun starts at 1.30pm when the Elf School willopen – come as yourself, leave as an elf! Bridge FM’s Phil Hoyles and local entertainerZack Franks will host the Entertainment Stage featuring the Snow Sisters fromGlass Slipper Events, Oldcastle School Choir, Performers from Bridgend YouthTheatre, SPARK! Drummers and the ever-popular Rock Choir.
There will be photo opportunities in two Giant Snow Globes,free Eleri’s Welshcakes and Christmas themed side stalls. Also look out for TheGrinch who will be causing mischief around the town centre.
The parade, led by SPARK! Drummers, will leave Carnegie Houseat 4.30pm - see Santa, the Grinch, illuminated presents and naughty elves maketheir way to the tree for the big switch on at 5pm!
All activities are FREE so visit Bridgend Town Centre from1.30pm on Saturday 23rd November to enjoy all the fun.
